Monica Davis was born in Arizona and grew up at Fort Bayard, New Mexico. After moving to Texas in 1981, she chose Law Enforcement as a career, working for the Austin, Texas County Sheriff's Department.

Monica retired in 2004, moved to Silver City, New Mexico and was inspired to pursue a degree in professional Film Editing. Currently, Monica is the Editor for "Voices New Mexico Productions". Her credits include the feature film "The New Mexico Weed Whacker Massacre", available on DVD through Amazon.Com and "Long Gun of New Mexico", currently in post production.
